God has blessed me in countless ways—even during those times when I foolishly turned my back on Him. I am extremely grateful for His incredible kindness and mercy! For many years, I appeared in the spotlights before thousands of people each week. I spoke to and/or performed before many thousands of audiences throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. As the emcee and/or illusionist for various productions, I always tried to do a great job—for my producers, for my audiences—and for my Lord. When I am hired to perform, my job is to entertain the audience in a professional manner. Secular agents, producers and other event planners do not hire me to preach or be political. In fact, I believe that if I were to ever abuse my position by sharing a personal agenda with the audience—even if that message was “right”—I would be out of place. I would immediately lose that job as well as the potential for other such positions. There is a time and place for everything. The Bible teaches, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might”. That is the way I try to approach any job or booking—with integrity. Some groups, however, request that I present an inspirational message at the end of my shows. So for these organizations, I offer optional, special presentations, where I combine fun and amazing illusions with powerful spiritual messages. My lifelong study of theatrical illusion has given me some unusual insight into the ways the enemy deceives us. In my special, inspirational performances—along with the fun and mystery—we take a fascinating look at the “world of illusion” in which we live. I share how the Bible teaches us to see through the devil’s tricks, and how—through Jesus Christ and His Word—we can avoid being deceived. As part of this message, I utilize theatrical illusions to illustrate important spiritual truths. An entertaining and amazing illusion show will often attract people who would normally avoid “church”, so I also offer performances which include God’s wonderful message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
